I thought I’d planned well and would be able to keep my wife at home with the help of full-time caregivers. After nine months, I realized the cost was overwhelming and we were both isolated in our home 24/7! My wife has now been at Blossom Grove for the past five months and it is all we had hoped for. The staff and caregivers are happy, loving, and caring. There are social activities, new friends, and a healthy environment designed to forego boredom and depression. I visit almost daily, have many meals with my wife and take her out frequently. We both have a life…and we have eliminated a lot of stress.

My experience with Blossom Grove has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff members are caring, compassionate and go above and beyond to ensure the well-being and comfort of the residents. From the cleanliness of the facility to the activities and amenities provided, I have been thoroughly impressed. Went to this facility and was greeted with such kindness. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, staff attentive and helpful (Roger), Administrator made time to speak with me. The residents seemed happy and well cared for. A true gem of a place.

After a great deal of internal struggle the decision was made to place the love of my life in Blossom Grove Alzheimer’s Special Care Center. Having recently retired as Head Chaplain for Loma Linda University Medical Center I was very familiar with “Excellence of Care” and what it looked like. It was my highest desire to find a place for my wife where this would be her experience. My family, friends, physicians, and health care workers I have taught with, all pointed me to Blossom Grove. I did my home work, checked out other possibilities and made my choice. I have never been more pleased at the care my wife is receiving, As a former administrator I was amazed at how well the staff functioned together while at the same time each one had a job to do and did it well. If I had questions about anything the staff made themselves available to me and others family caregivers. Blossom Grove staff seemed trained to take care of family members as well. The food is great and varied, hygiene of residents and their rooms are a priority. Medical needs are cared for promptly. Though all this is important what touches my heart the deepest is how many times residents are just loved. A warm smile, a gentle hug, or just hearing their name spoken by a caring staff. One day the time may come when it is my turn to need help. It is my prayer that Blossom Grove will have room for me.

We searched to find the right home for our dad, and after touring BG and meeting with their employees, we knew we didn’t have to look any further. Blossom Grove far exceeded any expectations we had. Our dad was high maintenance and required a lot of attention but the staff provided nothing but their best care, patience, love, great communication, and continued support. We consider his nurses our second family now, as they stepped in with open arms and so graciously cared for our dad during the toughest of times. We can’t say enough good things about BG or the staff, they will all hold a special place in our hearts forever. Sooo very grateful for Yndira, Susie, Brittany, Elsa, the Music man, and all those who loved him like their own. We can tell how much you love what you do by how well you love our loved one. The several times I’ve volunteered at Blossom Grove it’s always been such a fun experience! This is especially because one of the employees, Joy, is so kind to the volunteers and residents, and really brings such a positive light to this facility.

This facility is awesome! Residents here have such a beautiful surrounding and garden outside. They are constantly occupied with many activities every day. It is a great place to put your loved ones!

I loved volunteering!! The staff are friendly and it was amazing to get to know the funny residents.

Blossom Grove’s facility is amazing, I love to volunteer here occasionally and the residents definitely have so much fun during all of the activities planned. Staff is amazing as well, I always feel welcomed whenever I come by!

Blossom Grove is the other “happiest place on earth.” The social model with a Montessori approach makes this an exceptional facility. Its not perfect but it is pretty darn close! The Director/leadership (Susie & team) are very clear about their desired positive environment and most of the staff are exceptional in understanding the dynamics of Alzheimers. My Mother has been there for about a month and she is H A P P Y and thriving here! She loves all of the interaction, activities and how much the residents and staff all show love and kindness towards one another. This is by far, one of the hardest times in my life but Blossom Grove has made it full of sunshine and reassurance.

What a beautiful facility! Toured there and just so friendly, welcoming and clean. Everyone greeted me with a smile and offered help. Most beautiful facility in Redlands hands down!

Blossom Grove is a beautifully designed Alzheimer’s Care community. I love the circular hallway which allows residence to not get lost in the building. I’ve worked in senior healthcare for 38 years and I have seen a lot of Alzheimer’s care units. This is one of the best, the most clean, well designed and beautiful building I’ve ever seen every time I’ve been there the staff has been remarkable, Susie and Roger are the people deal with most and they are magnificent
